The hurdles for referenda are so high that they are theoretically possible but can not be performed practically! So a couple of representatives decide according to your will without asking the people. The result high unemployment, immense national debt, impoverishment of the population, by Hartz IV and low pensions!
The citizen does not have influence on the politics outside the municipal, country and parliamentary elections! He only is needed for the choice! The representatives are not to the instructions from the people but only bound to her conscience. The interests of the industry are treated first, one would like donations, after that the interests of the state come, one needs taxes and, if everything is issued, this one may taxpayers who pay bill!
The problem: "One would tie the citizen into political decision-making processes, a wide interest in the politics could arise". The power conditions in the parliaments could be changed. This is not wanted!
Lets the citizens about plebiscites and citizens' decisions, active take part in the politics! It no citizen was asked at this one, Maastricht contracts, the spelling reform or the introduction of the euro in Germany.
The citizen is only spectator in politics. The question arises: "The politicians are the state or the people, forms the state"! In a democracy the people should over this decide, the welfare, the people what serves! There should be more public petitions or referenda here, the power in the hands of few politicians leads always too more debts, a redistribution of the assets, arms gets poorer and rich become a rich man, the national bankruptcy is near!
