The value added tax amounts to 19% for every taxable transaction, some turnovers are reduced by the tax and the rate amounts to 7%. The tax for food and magazines as well as accounts and animal products amounts to 7%.
The medicine is taxed with 19%. In January 2009 became the unit rate of contribution of 14.5%, this gets established in July 2009, lowered by 0.9% again! Doctors and male nurse as well as service manager in the medical sector; and hospitals complain about too high costs and too little wage!
The inflater is the state again. You pay 10,00 euros per quarter for the doctor visit, at least 5.00 euros per medicine and extra payments, if you must to the hospital.
The rate for medicine is fundamentally lower in other countries. Cost savings are possible: The value added tax should be cut to 7%, (Illness mustn't become a luxury good).
The most favourable products should be only prescribed for an active agent row. The government and a doctor commission should fix the maximum price of a new drug. If the pharmaceutical industry should not hold on to it, the admission is refused!
They pay attention to the value added tax also at your purchase. A meal in the restaurant is legally seen service relationship. You pay 19% value added tax. They take the meal along, it is a pure sale and costs only 7% value added tax.
Another example: The visit in a health centre is a service relationship and they pay 19% value added tax. The visit in the sauna in the same health centre is taxed with 7%. You should conclude 2 separate contracts with a grand total.
